About

Chess is one of the world's oldest and most popular games. It is a two player game. It is played on an 8x8 board, with two armies of pieces (one per player) with 16 pieces per army of various types that move in specific ways. Players take turns moving. The goal of the game is to protect the most valuable piece, the king, and trap (checkmate) the opposing king.

Implementation notes
